A developer's notepad — built by, and for, developers. Never let your fingers leave the keyboard! The trackpad is lava! 🌋

Thanks for hunting us @chrismessina! Hi PH! 👋🏻 Cara here from Stashpad. I'm a developer. I use a scratchpad every day to manage my thoughts and do my work. I used to rely on some combination of untitled text files, sticky notes, and the default notepad on my computer to take notes. It was fast and convenient but I felt scattered. I spoke with hundreds of developers and found that many have had the same experience. The scratchpad is key to doing our best work, and yet it's entirely overlooked. There has to be a better way. Stashpad is the first scratchpad that's purpose-built for developers. It's a fast and organized way to take notes throughout the day without breaking flow. Stashpad has all the features that devs expect out of any tool - including speed, markdown support, and intuitive keybindings. It's also specifically designed to reduce friction in daily workflows and bring small moments of delight to your day. We're looking to bridge the gap between speed and organization. Stashpad is quick and convenient, but also capable of managing considerable complexity. We believe that some amount of context switching is unavoidable when working in a fast-paced environment - and that our tools can be designed to help us switch contexts more seamlessly and gracefully. Can't wait to hear what you think!

Hey y'all! I'm Theo, one of the co-founders of Stashpad. Excited to be launching today!   There are plenty of notes apps out there - but none that provided the experience we were looking for.   We're interested in what we like to call "scratch notes". The kind of notes you jot down for your own purposes as you're working on stuff. The ones that might seem incoherent to someone else, but make sense to you. Not polished documents, but rather quick ideas as you're getting your thoughts in order, breaking things down, or stashing stuff for later.   These kind of notes may seem insignificant, but for many of us, they're a big part of how we manage our day-to-day. We wanted a better tool for these notes. One that's lightweight and fast, but also flexible and powerful - one that's delightful to use and doesn't slow you down.   Looking forward to hearing your feedback!
