Five years ago, after failing miserably with another startup idea, I came up with a new idea: a website dedicated to showcasing the real stories behind successful online businesses and startups.
I decided to call it Starter Story and launched it with a few case studies here on Product Hunt.
5 years later, we’ve featured over 3,700 founders from over 70 countries! Starter Story has grown into the Internet’s most extensive and diverse business knowledge database, with thousands of case studies of successful founders sharing their journey from idea, to thousands of customers.

Our case studies are not the end. We regularly catch up with founders to see how their businesses have been doing, and how much they’ve been growing. For example, we caught up with many founders during and after the pandemic and got the scoop on how their business was going and what they were doing to stay profitable.
