We believe a rising tide lifts all boats. When you achieve your goals, you inspire others to do the same. Goal-setting is 93% more effective with accountability,& our app makes that easier and fun! The best part is your squad doesn't need the same goals as you

Hi Product Hunt community! My name is Niki, and I'm so incredibly excited to share this labor of love, developed by my brother Aneesh and me! In the last few years, we've gone on many journeys to learn new skills, push our boundaries (eg. NYC marathon), and develop good habits. But as many of you have experienced, following through on goals can be very difficult and often very LONELY. Without a coach to motivate you or team to learn alongside - who even checks if you improve or not? It's really easy to make an excuse and fall behind. So we thought, how do we make this more effective.... and more fun? Enter Squad Goals! Squad Goals was developed with the ethos - a rising tide lifts all boats. When you make progress on your goals, you inspire others to do the same. Plus it brings you closer to your friends when you have a shared support and understanding. Accountability can be a powerful tool for goal-setting, proven to increase the likelihood of completing your goal by 93%. We created Squad goals to make this easier. Over last 1.5yrs we iterated through many versions, to decide: 😊 Let's make this goal agnostic - your goal could be developing a habit like 'meditate daily', or an outcome like 'run an ultra-marathon'. Doesn't matter, it works with the app. 🗓️ Display a weekly view instead of daily, so you can plan out bigger tasks like 'work on my side hustle' 👏🏽 Don't use negative reinforcement like 'you are holding the team score back', but instead subtly remind with 'Niki just finished 75% of her weekly tasks'. 🎯 Your goals stay constant, but each week your 'tasks' reset...so there is some self-reflection in 'Am I breaking down my goals in a realistic way?' We'd be so appreciative if you gave this app a try by inputting your goals and sending this to your squad! We tremendously appreciate any and all feedback, as we are eager to improve this app for you. If you want to use our pre-made Product Hunt squad, the Group ID is 187047. We can all make progress together! For more info and FAQs, please visit our website: https://nagrawal44.wixsite.com/s...

@niki_agrawal I don’t know why, but I want to support you. The idea of your application is interesting, and most importantly useful for people. And there are similar applications in the market, so I hope you will take a leadership position in this niche 🚀 What is the special feature of your app that makes it different from all the others? I'm sure you have it, feel free to tell me But I would recommend you to improve your app design. This really has a big impact on users. If you want to achieve significant success, then you should develop a cool app design. If you want, I can recommend you a team that will develop a unique web design for you. Don't neglect it. This will help you take the lead among others

I've been a beta user of Squad Goals for a few months now, and I can say with confidence that this app has provided me with the motivation to be better – for both mundane and exceptional tasks. It's a high quality way to develop and track weekly goals. The accountability aspect really made me feel rewarded in my successes without kicking me in my worse weeks. Not to mention, it's incredibly fun keeping up with all your friends' self-improvement activities!

@samuel_grossman Thanks for affirming SG helps motivate you! We're glad to hear it doesn't feel burdensome in an off week, while very uplifting in a strong week. Also great point about keeping in touch with a friend group! I personally find a lot of enjoyment from my college friends' Squad

@samuel_grossman thank you Sam!! we really appreciate your constant support here, and how often times you're the one to kickstart the group into action when the squad is falling behind.

Oh, I really like how this sounds. Is there no app for Android @niki_agrawal? :(
Niki Agrawal
@duniachap ah Dunia, sorry about that - not yet. So far we've just developed for iOS. I'll keep you posted!
