Launch Team

What do you think? …

Brian Bosché
Hi Everyone! I’m Brian, CEO & Co-Founder of Slope. Thanks @erictwillis for hunting us! Slope is a simple way for teams to manage creative work—it combines the power of basic project management with creative collaboration and review tools. Why would we build another project management tool? While we love Basecamp, Trello and similar tools, they just don’t cut it when it comes to creative work, especially when working with multimedia and other creative content. On the other end of the spectrum, enterprise tools like Workfront are overly complicated and expensive. We started out as a creative agency, and hacked together a chaotic process using all of the generic tools. That’s what inspired us to build Slope. No more hacking together a process with email, spreadsheets, Dropbox, and Basecamp. Slope allows you to: Plan out projects Upload and view multimedia Request feedback Give time-coded and annotated feedback on videos, designs, and other content Control versions Automatically track progress across tasks and people with a stage tracker and calendar view If your team produces creative work, we would appreciate it if you try Slope and tell us what you think. You get a full, unrestricted free trial. Product Hunters get 50% off a paid plan for 3 months with the coupon code: ProductHunt Very excited to be on Product Hunt!

@brianpbosche the new product looks great! Congrats on the launch! What do you think are the 1-2 features that set Slope apart from other Project/Task Management tools?
Brian Bosché
@jankyourchain Thanks! The biggest thing that sets us apart is that we have built in creative review and automatic tracking tools. Unlike other project management tools, you can upload and view videos, designs, images, and other creative work, request feedback from different stakeholders, give time-comments and annotations, and control versions. You can also track tasks automatically with our dashboard, stage tracker, and calendar views.

Love the simplicity of the tool, seems like a bit of Basecamp meets Invision for video? What's your stack?
Kyle Gostinger
@chadwittman Hi Chad. That's a pretty great comparison! We're hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform. We utilize Azure's App Service and Blob storage in conjunction React, Redux, Node, GraphQL, and MySQL.
