Hey everyone! 👋 I built Shredder because one of the biggest problems I’ve faced as a skier is finding other people to ride with who match my skill level. Skiing and snowboarding are social sports, but it’s not always easy to connect with the right people. Shredder solves this by tracking your riding stats like speed, distance, vertical, and then it uses that data to match you with riders at your level. On top of that, you can share stats, plan events, coordinate carpooling, and build a community with other snow enthusiasts. Some insights from a free ride snowboarder based in Europe/Alps. 1) Freeriders need company for safety reasons (avalanches, injuries). 2) the company needs to be qualified (have proper training and equipment). 3) Since its all about powder riding, decision where to go are based on weather forecasts and are done mostly less than a week before departure - so powder alerts would be very useful.

@alfredarnaud it would also be cool to gamify the app by ex. unlocking local guides (we all protect our secret local trails, but would probably share with folks that "deserve it", or 4squre-like checkins for checking conditions with friends that recently visited the resort.
