What do you think? …

Anna Buldakova
Hello Product Hunt community! I’m Anna, co-founder at Meander. Over the past years, I've had hundreds of conversations with people who: - felt that they were stuck - thought that their efforts were underappreciated - wanted to urgently develop a certain skill - didn't understand how to get a promotion. Surprisingly, when I asked how they knew it was a problem, most didn't have an answer; they simply _assumed_. To be honest, I've made the same mistake myself, and more than once. I would sign up for a course thinking I had a skill gap, while in fact, I didn't - or the particular skill wasn't relevant to my goals. I'd feel frustrated about not growing in my role, not realizing I was actually making meaningful progress. I found an easy way to fix this: to understand where you stand, to feel less like an impostor, and to identify your strengths. And it is – through asking your network to share their observations with you. Your past and current peers, managers, reports, and mentors can be an incredible source of insight and information, and it's surprising how many people miss this opportunity to learn about themselves. At Meander, we decided to build for you an easy way to collect these insights and transform them into a meaningful list of actions aligned with your goals. We'd love it if you could give it a try and share your thoughts!

@anna_buldakova1 interesting concept and very actionable outcomes. does this work by connecting to your LinkedIn network?
Anna Buldakova
@ranjit_bhinge thank you! Not yet - right now you should invite people by email but integrations are definitely on top of our list.
Aris Nakos
@anna_buldakova1 if feedback is a function of the quality of the data the user is submitting how are you enabling that function ?
Anna Buldakova
@aris_nakos it's a great point! We use our own model to assess the quality of the feedback submitted and share recommendations with feedback givers on how to improve it. Our goal is to ensure that the data we receive is specific and actionable.

That's a great mentoring space, for real! I'm in love with how the Meander team organizes the mentoring process at all stages, from onboarding to finding mentors, publishing mentee' objectives, and doing mentor work at last!
