Every iOS developer knows this moment 😫 You've finished coding your great new feature or app, you've given it your all but you still have to make the screenshots for the App Store 😭 Since I've been making apps, I've been doing this with Sketch, I've got my symbols it's relatively optimized but it's still a purge. But now I'm sick of it! So I made a macOS app that lets you generate all your screenshots quickly and easily in the right sizes 🤯 All you have to do is upload to the App Store and you're done 🚀

@nicolasbachur Cheers to the launch! Wishing you great success and new milestones. How long did it take to develop this?

@kjosephabraham Thanks 🙏 I released the MVP on Wednesday and it took me two weeks to build it! Now let's add all the features requested by indie devs who use the app 💪

@nicolasbachur, making screenshot worthy for a Twitter post is a problem indeed. I think would be a bit easier to evaluate the Pros of Screenshot Master if you showed on images: Raw screens ➔ Final results you get And later somewhere how does the editor look like RN much visual info and it feels hard to filter it and get the feeling of how my screens would look like with your product Hope helped 🙌

@kostyabolsh Screenshot Master made a screenshot set for App Store Connect, not for Twitter, but you'r right for the before / after :)

Hi Nicolas, Does your tool offer any guidelines or best practices for optimizing these screenshots for better visibility and downloads? How does it handle screenshots for different device types? Congrats on the launch!
Nicolas Bachur
@kyrylosilin thanks 🙏 For the moment it's an MVP, so no guidelines or best practices yet, but it's relevant for the future indeed! Managing the different sizes is pretty straightforward: you drag the 6.7 format captures and the app takes care of adapting the image to 5.5. For the "full screen" arrangement, you can add a capture for 5.5 to match the format without distortion. Text is also synchronized between different sizes! You can also add a custom design for 6.7 in full screen to highlight a particular layout not available in the app. Captures are then exported in the format expected by the App Store: 6.7 and 5.5. Future versions will include support for other devices and Android, as well as uploading of captures via the App Store Connect API.
