My bookmarks folder is a complete mess and this is an awesome idea. I come across loads of things I want to read again and again in the future and this is great for that. One example is that GrowthHackers.com changed the way their site works.... it used to be easy to go back and refresh my knowledge on GH subjects but now it's a total mess and I lose my train of thought digging through the trash. I could put my growth hacks into a folder and revisit them periodically

Hey Product Hunt! ๐Ÿ‘‹ I am excited to share Savory with you. Savory lets you save anything you find on the Internet for later. With Savory, you can finally finish your reading list (by saving all your open tabs ๐Ÿ˜‰), curate your own personal library, and find anything in your collection quickly even if you saved it years ago. I am a software engineer and like many others, I have the habit of bookmarking useful links for later. But until recently, this process was effectively a blackhole since I was not able to organize them in any way, or find the link when I actually needed it. Thatโ€™s where the idea for Savory came from. I now use Savory as a personal knowledge base and content queuing system. Believe it or not, I have over 17K items stored in Savory, but it still holds up really well and it constantly uncovers hidden gems from many years ago. There are many products in this space but there are two key ideas which makes Savory different. 1) There is no feed, and 2) There are lots of tags. There is no feed in Savory (and probably will never be). You already have enough feeds and sources to scan. We are not trying to be just another reader app. Once you find something useful, just put it in Savory and you know that you will be able to find it again when you need it. Savory is optimized for tagging. It de-emphasizes note-taking and instead aims to get more bang for your buck by encouraging you to add tags to the content you save. The bigger goal is to make your collection easy-to-search (taking hints from the tags and links and other custom magic) so that you can always recall anything even if you saved it a long time ago. I wrote a blog post on this topic: https://getsavory.co/blog/using-... Thanks for reading! I would love to get your feedback.
