@dzaitzow Hi Daniel, I think you're raising a crucial point and would be interested to know the response to this question. Just to stimulate the discussion on this topic, I think, generally, an expert is defined by a set of skills and competencies they possess and the demonstrated level of proficiency in applying those to real-world tasks. For instance, an expert on copy-editing is someone who has certain language skills and has had a successful record of reviewing texts without making mistakes. So, perhaps, the pool of experts could be classified by fields of work, competencies and a successful track record (proven positive experience).

@dzaitzow Thank you 🙏 Everything is very simple: 1. You need to register 2. In the "Reviewer menu" section, go to the "My profile" tab and fill in your information 3. Provide payment information That's it, you are a reviewer and you can check the works! We have simplified the way to become a reviewer as much as possible. We hope you will appreciate it! We don't have any additional checks on your skills at the moment. In your profile, you provide information about yourself, a link to your portfolio, or LinkedIn. Then, when someone finds your profile, they will read the information and decide for themselves whether you are suitable for them to check. We are doing our best to introduce feedback for reviewers on profile pages. If you don't like the result of the check, you can always request a refund. This feature has already been implemented. If you have any questions, we are always here for you 😊

That topic is crucial 💯 We're giving all the tools needed for the reviewers to prove that they're experienced and have expertise in that area, including companies they've worked with, external proof (link to the LinkedIn/portfolio/personal website), and soon we'll roll-out testimonials underneath reviewers. The market is self-regulating. You need to prove you're good to get reviews 🚀! I hope that answers your question 🙏.

Onboarding on the Reviewer side is perfect, gives all the info and it's very quick :) I've played a bit with the "search" function on the customer side and there's a lot that can be improved I think! I'll share some advice on support chat - but for sure a quick thing you can do is show randomly selected reviewers to the user even before acting on the filters - so they can have an idea of what to expect from the platform reviewers :)

It's great to hear that you liked the onboarding; we've used a no-code tool to speed up the process, and the same thing happened with the "search" functionality on the customer side. @dimitri_khlopkov oops, my bad, it wasn't noticeable from mobile! so maybe I'll change the mobile design a bit so I can see the reviewers :) the idea was that I can click a category and reviewers pop up, by now I see that it works already that way another thing maybe it would be to change a bit the experience and drop the "sliders" , at least on mobile they cover everything. Maybe create a 2/3 step onboarding for end users or in the future even create a search that works with natural language!
