Hi hunters! We're maker of Rayst and also software engineers. As we made several websites there were one thing people always asked anytime we publish a website and that was
How did you make it?
We decided to make Rayst to better answer this question.
Until now, the way we get to know about the website is by searching and searching for multiple different queries, digging through the developer panel, et cetera.
Rayst is a chrome extension that lets you reveal the company, statistics, and technologies behind the websites.
How does it compare to alternatives?
- Rayst shows company, stats, tech stack all at once
- Rayst supports some handy shortcuts.
Does it make my browser slower?
- Not really, analytics is only triggered when you click the badge or press the shortcut (Shift+R) from our latest version v1.0.10
We would love to get your feedback. Thanks!
P.S. You can add Rayst on Chrome-like browsers including Arc, Brave, Whale, MS Edge, etc.
It's a nice idea, but when I tested it with several websites, I got mixed results or none at all.
I understand that there are also security tool that hides some used plugins and CMS so it's possibly not entirely Rayst fault.
Pretty design, but didn't help me reveal the stack of websites as much as I needed. Having company information is cool but not essential. Will stick to Wappalyzer unless it gets more fully featured.
