I built this a while ago to scratch my own itch. I wanted to be able to reserve time slots for focused work, but also to be available for my team mates. It works both ways. When I want to do focus work and when I want to ask or ping a colleague without interrupting them. It's asynchronous communication component that Slack is missing.
