Hi everyone, I'm super excited to bring QBell to product hunt.
This is a platform that we have been working on for some time, and was really the result of us seeing the imbalance between the demand for Smart Doorbell functionality, and the barriers that traditional hardware puts in the way.
We wanted QBell to be a sustainable, low-friction alternative that really opens up the possibilities for making Smart Doorbell interfaces more useful to more people.
As someone who works from home and constantly has my doorbell ring during meetings (often for parcel delivery for another flat) and can't jump up to answer or ask the delivery person to not ring 5 times if no one answers, being able to just ping back a message on my phone and not have a loud interruption for a meeting has been a massive help for me. I don't like the idea of something like Ring capturing video and this is a great and cost-effective alternative. Hope it becomes mainstream!
Does what it says but what you’re not told is that you CAN’T change the message the user scans and reads once you input it! Of course the company ‘apologised’ with an exclamation mark!
