Hello Product Hunt! 👋👋👋 I'm Justin Fuller, creator of Purchase Plan. This is the first side-project I've launched for others to use. Over the past few years, I've struggled with a problem that's familiar to many of us. I have a limited set of money but a lot of stuff I need to buy. Overall, I'm a pretty good budgeter and financial planner. But, can you guess what I chose when I saved enough to either replace my broken screen door or buy that new Fellow Pour-Over Kit? I was saving my money but getting caught up in impulse purchases whenever I had it. That's when I decided to make Purchase Plan. Now, I have a beautiful list of the things I need (OK, some things I just want) to buy. Each time I get paid, I look at the top of the list first and buy whatever I planned. No more impulse spending. I've also noticed that whenever I find something new to buy, simply adding it to Purchase Plan provides the same gratification as clicking "purchase". So it's helped me overcome my impulse spending both when I do and when I don't have money saved. I hope this tool is as helpful to you as it is to me!
