First time maker alert! 🎉
I was checking out the Product Hunt launch page and several products caught my eye. I went about saving them in my weird organized bookmarking fashion for later perusal and I thought - wouldn’t it be cool if Product Hunt had a favorites list?
With the rise of AI, it feels like anyone can build something… so this was the perfect opportunity for me to finally try my hand at building something! 🎉
This favorites list is different than seeing the list of my “upvotes” since that’s everything I’ve every upvoted, anything I found novel, helpful, interesting etc. I wanted the favorites list to help me remember the tools I want to dive in and check out later, tools I want to share with someone else in the future if they ask me, etc. and be able to save notes to reference later.
It took me less than a day to build - a lot of it was spent troubleshooting the code but
I’m happy with it so far - not pretty but functional! 🙌🏽

@ph_leeanntrang Congrats on the launch! I bet folks here would be curious about engineering tools you used to build the extension. You shouted out ChatGPT. Any other other tools that were helpful? Anything like Vercel v0?
@mikekerzhner Thanks! I only used ChatGPT 😳 since I don’t know how to use anything else, but @gabe has shared there are many other tools I need to learn to help me make the process easier for next time (and probably as I update and maintain the extension!). 😁

Congrats on your first launch @ph_leeanntrang!!! I often also find myself wondering "what did I like last week" and my bookmarks becoming a mess lol. Awesome job 🙌
