"PRODUCTHUNT15" for 15% off your entire order! 😎 I made Product Genius for two reasons, firstly because I found shopping for cool, fun things for my friends pretty boring and secondly because I have a 6-hour commute every day 😪 with crappy wifi and wanted something to fill the time. Product Genius was 80% done within about a week and a half and then the final 20% took another week or so just cleaning it all up and making it look nice. 😍 I wanted to create the store that I'd wanna use, with cool stuff, jokes, stories and memes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I wanted to try and give people a nice experience while looking for gifts; and I wanted to treat the whole thing as a big kinda joke, with lots of self-deprecating humour and things like that. All the products are either hand-picked by myself or are my own designs which is the case with most of the hats especially. Future plans for this project are to work with more people in the tech/media world as well as artists to create their own "collection" similar to this "Internet Connected" collection I made. https://productgenius.cool/colle... The plan for these would be to do some collaboration projects and team up to market them! If anyone would be interested in launching a collection and would like to work with me, get in touch! 👋 Then finally as well as this store I'll be looking to automate the whole order fulfilment process, repeat with other stores to build a small network, link them together and hand them off to my parents to control as some passive income for them! So far I've been learning all the parts of eCommerce, order fulfilment, advertising, product research, audience research, quality control but welcome any tips or advice on these things!
