However, Harvest is missing one very important financial KPI when showing project performance - Profitability of projects. If you are a project-based, professional services business, profitability of your projects is lifeline of your business. Harvest already does a good job, showing you where you stand in terms of Budget as well notifying you of Internal Costs to date. What it’s missing to build a full picture of how successful your project is from financial standpoint is Profitability. This extension does exactly that - elegantly adding the missing metrics to your Harvest projects. There's another cool trick 😎 - With this extension, you can choose a desired Profitability goal. This allows us to highlight if certain projects are under performing. Clear colour-coding of Profitability metric allows you to quickly identify projects that need more attention right in Harvest. Very keen to hear your feedback!

Harvest has had the data for this for years but for some reason never showed this.

It took a 3rd party of caring ppl to come up with an easy fix.

Pros:

Free Simple, Shows you the number you need and its nicely in the UI itself not a stupid box somewhere in the background.

Cons:

My Harvest data was not accurate, but the good thing was I was told I needed to add some cost rates.
