Hi my name is Andre Persidsky, the creator of the Prana Wearable. Thank you for considering my product for your wellness needs. I genuinely hope this device and app can be helpful to you in reducing stress and anxiety, as well as improving sleep and focus. Breathing exercises have been around for thousands of years, and recently, dozens of medical studies have validated their effectiveness. Prana was designed to help you tap into this world of breathwork in a simple and fun way, by training any breathing exercise out there (80+ currently) with live sensor feedback so you know you're breathing the right way. We've also gamified the process to make it more engaging. Prana also trains and tracks posture together with breathing (the only wearable integrating the two measures), as breathing and posture support each other in many important ways. It's been a long hardware journey to finally launch the product. It went through countless iterations as most hardware gadgets do. We landed on this retractable design as it solves a number of issues with how to reliably wear and secure the device, without relying on clipping to tight waistbands, bras, using tape, or needing any special type of shirt or clothing.
