Hiya, Product Hunt! We're Pollie's co-founders Jane and Sabrina. Pollie is a telehealth solution for complex chronic conditions for females. Our vision is to streamline support for hormone imbalances, digestive disorders, and autoimmune issues - which have historically been under-diagnosed and underserved. ***Why we built this*** I have a condition called PCOS, which impacts 10% of women of reproductive age. That amounts to 7M women in the US alone. While PCOS is known as a fertility disorder, it's much more than that: it greatly increases risk for diabetes, estrogen-related cancers, mental health issues, and heart disease. Other hormone—related issues like endometriosis and amenorrhea also lead to long term health issues while negatively impacting quality of life. But the options out there today for managing a chronic hormone issue like PCOS? They're abysmal. That's why Sabrina and I started Pollie. ***How Pollie works*** We currently have two product offerings: Pollie Marketplace and Pollie Programs. POLLIE MARKETPLACE Our marketplace tool makes it easier to manage a range of hormone-related issues such as PCOS, endometriosis, amenorrhea, infertility, hormonal acne, hair loss, and more. This product is for people with the budget to meet with a specialist 1-1. Features include: - PERSONALIZED PROVIDER MATCHING: Tell us your preferences when it comes to personality, treatment methods, specialty areas, and more. Our automated matching engine will find you a handful of providers that fit your style. - BOOK APPOINTMENTS: Book and pay for your appointments yourself through Pollie's platform. No phone calls, no email back and forth. - TRACK SYMPTOMS: Keep record of your symptoms in one space. - CONCIERGE SUPPORT: Get support from our care coordinators throughout your journey. This flagship product will help scale support for PCOS in a more cost and time efficient way than meeting 1-1 with a provider. - A DEDICATED CARE TEAM: This includes care coordinators to help you navigate through the program, your own PCOS health coach to help you manage your goals, and a functional nutritionist to review lab work (if applicable) and develop a personalized treatment plan. - VARIETY OF LAB OPTIONS: Labs are optional, but we have pre-set lab work we will recommend developed by our in-house medical advisor board. - PERSONALIZED TREATMENT PLAN: Our functional nutritionist will help you develop your treatment plan based on your goals, lifestyle, and specific case of PCOS. Our care coordinators and health coach will help you execute. - CURATED EDUCATIONAL CONTENT: Half the battle with PCOS is understanding the “why” behind your symptoms.
