Hi Hunters, our team is delighted to present PitchLeague AI - your personal pitch deck coach. 🚀 After more than 3,000 founders used the beta version of Pitch League last year we completed a 48 hour hackathon this week to make some upgrades and launch v1.0. The new Pitch League includes: - Slide-by-slide feedback with suggested content and design improvements - New startup scores - not just scores for your deck but scores for your startup based on team, market and traction - Investor discoverability - the leaderboard now includes ways for investors to discover your startup and request an intro Please let us know your feedback - this is only v1.0. Happy fundraising!

@alex_macdonald3 Congratulations 🎉

@kiran_bharambe thank you Kiran!
@alex_macdonald3 Congrats on the launch Alex 🎉 From my experience VCs mostly only care about market size, and everything else takes a backseat. What's your thoughts on this, and how does Pitch League address this?
Philipp Omenitsch
@alex_macdonald3 @jgani Hey Jonni, jumping in here. Market size is a very important factor in the journey of a startup. We also use it as one factor, but also team and traction, which are important especially early stage

This is pretty cool, actually. Surprised companies like Pitch.com does not have a feature like this already. What model have you used to score the decks? Have you fed it with various guides by top VCs? Would be interesting to understand the scoring criteria better.
Philipp Omenitsch
@oliver_bahne Hey Oliver, happy to answer this. There are two many scores we compute. One the pitchscore, which is a combination of an easy readability of the deck (think: not too long, just the right amount of words per page, and containing all information that an investor would be interested in knowing) and the quality, which is a function of signals for a good market, team and high traction. Having invested in more than 100 startups between all of us, we used the criteria we use when we evaluate startups. Happy to answer follow up questions
Alex Macdonald
@oliver_bahne Our team have made more than 100 startup investments and a dozen fund investments. We've incorporated elements of our own scoring model at sequel to score the startup itself around traction, team and market size. For the deck score we focus on clarity, spelling & grammar, structure and length.
Oliver Bahne
💡 Bright idea
@rgndws thanks for that clarification. Would be interesting to hear if you have any scoring on storytelling? But maybe that is not what your product is solving for, but more the overall clarity of the messaging?
Philipp Omenitsch
@oliver_bahne I think that is a great idea. We will look into it. We do have some criteria in it to ensure the content is easily understandable, but maybe we can add something in regards to coherency. Thanks for the idea

I think tools like this is a must-have for all modern data-driven investors. Pitchleague allows founders to understand how AI sees their decks before sending it to VCs. So cool
Alex Macdonald
@okhlopkov I agree :)
Philipp Omenitsch
@okhlopkov Using it is fun, but building it the last few days was also great fun I think!
Sophie Bettels
@okhlopkov indeed - such a quick frictionless test before you press "send" to investors!
Denis Semenenko
@okhlopkov another launch from my favorite startup guy
Daniil Okhlopkov
@okhlopkov Completely agree.
