It’s 2024. Let’s face it. File sharing is not that cool banana everyone talks about. 🍌 I don’t know about you but whenever someone mentions those two words to me, I think of: Boring office documents, email attachments, offices with cubicles, people in suits… My mind shouts “stay away from me!” Until one day I stopped and went through my emails and saw for myself the files I had been getting and sending. They are the illustrations I commissioned, they are the leases I signed, they are the photos I took, they are the presentations I created… They are hours and hours of hard work, they are my hopes and dreams, they are quite literally… my life. 🤯 It was that moment I realized, it’s not the files that are broken, it’s “file sharing” that is broken. It’s those soulless icons within an email, those generic Google Drive/DocSend/Dropbox links I had been getting that sucked the spirit out of it. After all, when the logos you poured your heart and sweat get compressed into a zip, how much cool is left there? That’s why we decided to build Peony. 🛠️ A bold new vision for what file sharing should be. A new way of sharing files that makes it all cool again. Hi Everyone! I'm Seb, the lead designer here at Peony. I've been working at Peony for the last couple of months to craft the next big thing in file-sharing, and super excited to share it with you all. I've got to say I use WeTransfer A LOT & I have never thought that it was the best that file-sharing could reach, I'm glad you're bringing this to market. Have passed this on to a few friends & I've got no doubt they'll be using it in no time :)
