Your Parking Reminder

Do you have to keep track of where your car is parked, and when it needs to be moved due to various street regulations, like street cleaning? Parkmindr is here to help with that. Track location, track time, share with family and friends... Doesn't collect data

Vadim - great first launch! The emphasis on privacy ("Doesn't collect data") is a refreshing approach, and tackling the universal pain of urban parking management is smart.
Love how you've focused on key features that matter:
Location tracking
Time management for regulations
Family/friend sharing
Street cleaning reminders
The free tier shows confidence in the value proposition. Really curious about:
What inspired you to build this (guessing some parking tickets were involved)?
How are users using the sharing feature?
Any interesting patterns in how different cities use it?
Quick questions:
How do you handle varying parking rules across different cities?
What's your approach to privacy while enabling location features?
Any plans for integration with local parking regulation APIs?
The launch engagement suggests many urban dwellers need this solution. You're essentially creating a personal parking assistant that respects privacy!
Keep focusing on the user experience - you're solving a real headache for city drivers! 🚗🅿️
Looking forward to seeing how Parkmindr evolves. This feels like an essential tool for urban living! 🚀
P.S. The family sharing feature could be especially valuable for households sharing vehicles or helping elderly relatives.

@xi_z Thank you for great questions Xi.Z
You're absolutely right, my farther-in-law got a few of tickets because he forgot about the street cleaning. I myself, a couple of time forgot about the exact spot I left my car in (which surprisingly is easy to do in NYC, when there're many similar streets and you're thinking about something else while looking for parking) and had to walk around.
As for the sharing feature, I use it to send the information to my wife about our car, and when I help my father-in-law park his car I send him the data as well.
There's information available about parking rules on the Internet, need to do data mining though first, and then it's a technicality to add it to the app :)
I am not loving at all how big companies are tracking people with all the consequences of that. The app doesn't collect any location info, but obviously the device does, can't have it all :). The GPS in the app, while very convenient, is still optional, the user is able to type in the address, though in that case, it still relies on iOS APIs to map it to latitude/longitude, so technically, it's still trackable, but probably to a lesser degree.
Good point about the API, I didn't find any, but as I collect more rules about various cities, I might open those up through an API.
I have number of other features planned, but more interesting ones require a user base. Hopefully I'll get there one of these days, fingers crossed :)
Thank you,
Vadim

@denisss yes Denis, you should be able to use this tool in Germany. Most of the functionality, except for parking rules and holidays should work.
