I can't believe I live in a world where something called a 'gasless NFT' is really a thing. It's no reflection on the maker or those congratulating them, you both still use both halves of your brains and you should be recognized. It's just that I'm old. I come to PH to stay up on trends and am often stumped by what I encounter, but this... this makes me want to start day drinking, now, and it's not even noon. I wish you the very best with your endeavor.

@gregory_wehmeyer This definitely seems like Magic, but so do most aspects of crypto-anything to me. I'm just a humble software developer, who's been putting off looking too deeply into it all, but Smart Contracts definitely seem super cool. I'd be very interested in knowing how this works without costing any gas at all.

@gregory_wehmeyer @nilamo Smart contracts are awesome! We use Filecoin, which is proof-of-space, not proof-of-work, which is what costs gas fees.

I just recently started trading crypto and have discovered there’s no way to day trade without losing your a$$, really fast. Don’t know if that has anything at all to do with this subject... see my previous post about day drinking.

@gregory_wehmeyer lmao yes it's the wild, wild west. It's actually pretty simple, the best way to understand blockchain and NFT's is think about it as digital receipt with public transparency. Not sexy, I know, but that's exactly what blockchain and NFT's are. NFT's are the same thing, a digital certificate of authenticity that represent an asset. If you're trading crypto, I would look into Filecoin and Storj. They're the decentralized version of AWS, and Filecoin is what Pairdot runs on and how we create NFT's.
