Outschool was in the YC Demo Day yesterday. From the TechCrunch writeup:
"Learning can come in many different ways, especially outside of the classroom. Outschool is a class marketplace for homeschoolers that offers classes and field trips for kids around topics like anatomy, space and photography. This week alone, Outschool says it’s on track to sell $14,000 worth of classes."
I love this idea. We homeschool our kids and we have seen the need for a better way to find supplementary education activities or classes to teach them at a higher level than we are able.
