I’m Julian, one of the co-founders of Openspot and we’re building a platform born from the frustrations we've all felt with traditional, static resumes and outdated networking platforms.

Yeah, totally agree execution is tough. From our perspective, Peerlist and Polywork are still pretty close to LinkedIn in terms of structure: basic profiles, followers, feed, etc. Just with a slightly more modern coat of paint.
We're trying to go a different route: no social feed, no likes, no “personal brand” pressure, just scrollable, expressive profiles that help you stand out when it matters (especially with optional video/audio).
And yep, we’re already talking to a few early hiring partners to make the network more valuable on both sides 🙌

@fliellerjulian finally something different! i've had enough of all the BS on linkedin lately, seriously. it's just noise most days ( T_T). openspot looks like a breath of fresh air, maybe a place where you can actually show who you are? not just buzzwords. looks really clean. nice job and congrats on the launch team!!
