Oncall Scheduler

Oncall work is hard. Lots of companies are working to make it better. The scheduling of when we work oncall, and more importantly: when we don't want to be oncall, still does not work well for most companies though. It makes the scheduling predictable far enough into the future for you to plan your life outside work. It also helps the person responsible for managing the oncall schedule by completely automating everything about it. The schedules sync automatically into engineer's calendars, PagerDuty, Opsgenie. You can easily add sync into other systems through the REST API.

I used a pre-pre-pre-release version of the Oncall Scheduler at Microsoft. It was amazing how it streamlined oncall scheduling, while making oncall engineers feel empowered to fulfil their oncall duties without disrupting their family commitments. Not having to manually figure out who was going to be oncall over Christmas and New Year's is fantastic.
