I built the Metaverses platform to be an open web protocol solution for anyone who wants to easily build and host their own 3D virtual metaverse space with as little as 1 line of code in a metaverse.json file like this: {"entities": [{ "id":"backdrop", "environment":"preset:forest" }]} Once your metaverse.json file is published to your website or GitHub/Glitch, you can invite your family, friends, and even co-workers to experience social video chat in your own metaverse or explore other metaverses created by other members. Our metaverse platform runs on mobile (phones and tablets), laptops/desktops, immersive VR (Oculus and Vive) and immersive AR (Hololens and MagicLeap). Join the metaverse revolution!

@repreneur Metaverses uses decentralized P2P WebRTC for video and audio but the signaling setup and websocket movements currently requires a centralized server. We may be able to use GunDB or OrbitDB in the near future to completely decentralize the platform!
