Market Map sounds like a great tool! What sparked this idea, and what kind of new insights or perspectives can users expect from Market Map's visualizations?

Thanks @ricardo_luz! It was mainly my curiosity about the overall market. I think the majority of people don't have any idea about the number of companies traded on the US market and how they relate to each other. Market Map aims to solve this problem by giving you a unique bird's eye view of the market combined with the ability to drill down and learn about sectors, indices or individual companies.

Such a well thought out tool. Maybe the only thing I'd suggest is, it's not very intuitive how the graph is formed in this particular shape and what it means for some companies to be so distant from the rest.
