Hey Product Hunt, we are excited to share the launch of locant.tv with you all! It has been a passion project for us for the last several month and are glad to finally have a version we want to share with all of you. As an avid follower of esports and content creators, I often encountered the problem that I had to check multiple platforms and services to find all the content I am interested in. Especially YouTube livestreams I often missed, as I was mainly checking Twitch and just after the fact, I discovered that one of my favorite creators streamed on YouTube that day. For other creators I might be interessted in their videos, but got annoyed by the shorts they posted on YouTube. locant.tv tries to solve exactly this. With locant you can follow creators across multiple services and get all content in one feed. Additionally locant offers great customizability what content you see on a per-creator basis. As an added bonus, locant.tv does not use algorithms to decide what content you get to see, as we assume you already know pretty well what you are interested in. To get you started, we offer a service to import your existing follows from Twitch or YouTube directly into locant. If you like what we offer, you can even unlock further customization options with an optional premium subscription.

This could be a game-changer for stream-savvy users. Kudos on the launch

@paul_pamfil Glad that you think that way! :) We use our own product already on a daily basis and for us, it made consuming and discovering content much easier.

So, just Youtube and Twitch? The About page suggests that other services like TikTok, Instagram, etc... are available, but that doesn't seem to be the case on the Import Follows page.
Jan Henkel
@dfoster Sadly, due to technical limitations in the APIs, only Twitch and YouTube are supported for the follows import. However it is possible for creators to additionally link their Instagram, Tiktok or Trovo accounts to have that content imported as well. It is just the import function that is limited. However we keep a close eye on the APIs of other services as well, in case they ever decide to open up their data at some point.
