Hey Product Hunt! I'm Jono Matusky, the founder and CEO of Plynth, a site that makes it easy to add engaging digital experiences to products, marketing materials and in-person events. It uses web-based augmented reality to overlay video on top of images in the real world–no app or download required. While our product is geared towards creators and marketers, my friends and family have been asking if they could use it to create Harry Potter-style holiday cards that come to life. So I made some modifications and put together Lively Greeting Cards to make it easy to do just that! 💻 How it works 1. Create an account 2. Upload a video 3. Upload a photo or select a frame from your video 4. Hit a button to generate the AR experience 5. Test it out! Open the preview page on your desktop, scan the QR code with your phone, then hold your phone up to the image to see it come to life ✨ 6. Print your card anywhere. Just include the QR code to let others access the experience. *Note: The builder is currently only available on desktop, but you'll be able to access the AR experience on your mobile device after you create it. Thanks for checking it out! Happy Holidays, Jono-ho-ho 🎅

What a fun use case, @jonomatusky! Does the QR Code print separately or is it somewhere in the template for the card design?
Jono Matusky
Thanks @mandi_galluch! The QR code prints separately for now. Most folks include it on the back of the card. I’d love to add templates in the future!

@jonomatusky nice, makes sense. Appreciate the response!
