I love this idea as someone who gets dragged into fantasy leagues with people who know way more about football than I do. What would be nice in future iterations is some information about the who they are up against during that week (what defenses the quarterbacks/running backs/etc. will be going up against and the offenses the defenses are going against). Would be extra cool to include stats like historical results of that matchup and the player's recent results. If there was some sort of account system (or maybe just tracked by the email address you submit) you could then start to weight people's predictions based on their overall success or even their success at prediction the over/under on that particular player. So people who are better at evaluating players have their prediction mean a little more than people who are not as successful. Excited to see how this continues to develop.

I'm glad to hear you find this useful :) A couple comments in response to your post: - Right now, the projection listed is for the season total which is why it doesn't show the matchup. I plan on adding this once the season gets in full swing! - The post-mvp version of Lineup Advisor is (I hope) going to have a system that weights predictions just as you suggest so you're spot on! - We also plan on introducing accuracy scorecards where we provide other users your overall accuracy percentage, as well as the players you've been most accurate on (for example, Tom Brady). That way, if another user has Tom Brady on their team and they know that you are an accurate predictor, they can follow your predictions as well as look at the algorithmic ranking too.
