HI ProductHunt! When my colleague @michael_vandi showed me what he was up to with LangDrive, I immediately saw the potential for how it can be so useful for startups (or even larger companies). IMHO the era of "we have collected all this data, what should we do with it?" is rapidly coming to an end thanks to products like these and other generative AI technologies. Hi PH! I'm Michael, one of the makers of LangDrive. I'm thrilled to introduce you to LangDrive, a tool that's set to redefine how we approach AI development and data privacy. We built LangDrive in response to a specific need: @charles_karpati and I run Addy AI - a product that helps businesses train AI models to handle company emails. When a customer in the EU approached us with a five-figure contract, they wanted to host their own data without relying on external servers. This got us thinking—how can we make AI development more secure, private, and user-centric? This is how LangDrive was born. 🌟 What is LangDrive? LangDrive is an NPM library that allows you to train and inference AI models directly from your user's personal Drive. Your user's data never has to leave their personal Drive, ensuring maximum data privacy and security. From vector embeddings, to chat history, to LLM Memory. Everything is retrieved from and stored in their personal drive. We've built the first integration with Google Drive and made it open-source. 🔨 Integrations We built a HuggingFace pipeline directly from within LangDrive to support all HuggingFace models. We've also integrated with OpenAI to directly inference GPT-3, GPT-4, and you can use locally hosted models as well + Meta's Llama models We took the liberty of building out a seamless one-click signup using oAuth for your users.
