Hi product hunters! 👋 Learning a foreign language? Learning new words takes time and repetition. It has to be fun and engaging, otherwise it doesn’t work. Karteto’s mission is to make word retention easier and more efficient. 💪 🤷‍♀️What is it? Spaced repetition is the most effective way to improve long term retention, but it can be dull. That’s why we are introducing fun design and gamification to this market. Duolingo meets Anki/ Quizlet would be a good way to describe it. We believe that some language learning apps overpromise by claiming to teach you a language entirely. Our approach is different. We promise that you'll find it easier to remember and retain foreign words with our app. It's a helpful tool, but remember to complement it with real conversations and working with a teacher. 🤸Who are we? It’s our first startup. We are Alex and Alex! Easy to remember, but a mess when we are talking to a third person. As is typical with first time founders we kind of underestimated the amount of time it would take to develop, but finally we are ready to release an MVP that we are happy and excited about. 🏋️‍♂️ Time to go full on marketing mode!
