Two years ago, I launched the first version of a brilliantly fast and impressively simple note-taking app for iOS called Jotify. Jotify is an app that encourages you to turn off your phone. Counter-intuitive as it might be, I believe apps should be created with the sole purpose of improving our lives. Jotify is a helpful sticky note manager that helps you get back to what you really care about – the people around you. With Jotify, notes can be created in a matter of seconds without worrying about menus, formatting, or titles. Simply record the information you need as unobtrusively as possible. I wanted to debut Jotify to the Product Hunt community as I have recently released a completely rewritten version of the app. Everything from animations to backend functions have been rebuilt from the ground up and vastly improved. If you are a developer yourself or simply want to see some code, Jotify has always been open source for anyone to view on GitHub. It’s important to understand what’s running on your device, so I always prefer open source when available. Jotify is free to download on iPhone or iPad.
