I have been working with Datatelligent to launch this free comparison tool as just a taste of what Datatelligent can do with IPEDS data. With the uncertainty of the IPEDS data remaining public access, Datatelligent also saved a local copy of this data to offer this comparison tool even if IPEDS goes away.

@thisissukh_thanks for asking! IPEDS data collection always pertains to the previous academic year. So, the 2024 data won't be collected until this upcoming fall. So expect the charts to update in fall 2025.

This tool is super easy to use and easy to understand. Using the IPEDS website is difficult and the data may not be available due to changes at the Department of Education.

Just tried it for York University (went there for CS) - looks like 8% dropoff in people looking to get a degree. Is there more recent data as well?
