We launched our first product several months ago - an app that allowed Shopify store owners to capture and share video reviews using mobile video feedback and recording. While this app is launching after our Shopify app, this is actually the original use case that Intercept was designed for. After a previous career in customer experience consulting, I thought there had to be a better way to get feedback from customers than using a survey or manually reaching out through interviews and phone calls. While the work we were doing with interviews was valuable for generating insights, it was also time-consuming. When it came to surveys, they completely fell flat for trying to quantify what someone is feeling. It turns out that human emotions don't fit neatly into a 1-10 scale.🙃 It's been a long journey to get here (it turned out that in-person events and experiences weren't the best focus area for 2020, who knew!?), but we picked up some incredible learnings and interesting case studies along the way. We just launched our newest version this week, including a complete redesign of the project template builder and the interface for sending intercepts. ---------- A few notes on what to expect from here: - We have a lot more in the pipe for the next couple of weeks. In particular, we are finalizing opening our API to the public and launching on Zapier. We've already done some interesting things with targeting customers via SMS through the API, so if you have a use case you're interested in trying out right now, let me know and I'll add you to the beta! - Aside from that, we welcome any and all feedback.
