I'm really excited to launch host.io today, where we're to bring the focus on data quality and reliable easy to use APIs that we have for IP addresses at IPinfo to domain names. Use the website to quickly get data about a domain name, uncover new domains and relationships between them, or use our API to power lots of interesting use cases, including cybersecurity, business intelligence, lead gen, market analysis, SEO research and more. Here's how it all started: as an IP address data provider, we were spending more and more time working with domain name data as part of our data processing pipelines, and had to build out some interesting technical solutions to handle scraping over 400 millions domains at a regular schedule. domain data. Out of curiosity, we shared some of this data with some customers, and they were excited to get their hands on it. That's when we realized more people needed access to data like this, and so we built an API around the data we had been collecting and analyzing. http://host.io is built for speed. Users can get domain data within milliseconds. Plus, it offers important fields that other domain data providers leave out. We collect data from every domain name (including every TLD) and update it every month, and analyze all our data to find links between the domains, and make it easy to navigate between them. And that's how you can get a list of reliable outbound links, backlinks, scraped web content, DNS records and other hosting details. What we're launching today is just the start though. We have plans to build out more features for customers like richer data and trends to help with market analysis. Want to see what Host.io is all about?
