@jaysquaredcom thanks for sharing this! The photos truly do justice to the beautiful locations captured in it. Instagram also allows to search the location specific photos but the results present a lot of clutter. This is curated and as I said, b-e-a-utiful! :)

@adityavsc Thanks :) Instagram was a part of the inspiration. But I always needed to manually save the locations I found interesting and as you said, it's a lot of clutter and duplicate photos. My photos can definitely be improved, especially including more portrait photos, but due to manually curation I can prevent too many duplicates. I would love to have some local ambassadors going forward to help keep quality high. But let's see, it's just the first version :) Also reddit's r/EarthPorn was part of the inspiration. I would love for these photos to be included.

@jaysquaredcom Yess! It would be great to have local ambassadors. It's a nice way to integrate the local perspective, and not merely rely on a tourist's lens. Locals know the places that tourists cannot even dream of. As a senior in the University, I used to take recent admits for a heritage tour of Delhi. It was so fun to show them 2000 years of history in just 2 days 😂

Whenever I wanted to leave for a day trip on the weekend, we were going to the same places, as nobody wanted to read travel guides. Honua is the tour guide app for the Instagram generation. Just look at photos to find interesting places to visit. Initially only a few regions are available. But I also included world wide "bucket list" locations. More regions will be added gradually and I also eventually plan to include the option to upload your own photos to share with the community. I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
