After 10+ years in the music industry, I decided it was time to make a real change. The industry remains too informal, fragmented, and inefficient. We've identified two key insights: While most companies focus on helping artists generate more views or streams, the real issue isn’t just access to capital—it's access to opportunity. Artists often don’t know how to spend the limited money they have. We're building a solution to help them make smarter, more efficient decisions. Having owned two small businesses in the music industry, I’ve seen firsthand the massive need for a platform like ours—one that delivers leads and more deals to small businesses. Our model ensures artists don’t pay; instead, we’ll charge businesses to fuel the platform’s success. We’re here to make the music industry more connected, efficient, and accessible for all.

I understand that The Papaya will provide two functional points: 1. Musicians share daily, such as sending some small demos 2. A trading platform for musicians and businesses So my question is, how are you going to make sure that the intellectual property rights of musicians are not being compromised? For example, demo theft

@an_zuo Hey An, thank your for your question. We are not really planning on providing a feed, or a place for artists to share their work as of now. We believe that the tools that already exists are doing a decent job doing so. That idea is to help artist filter through the noise, not generate more. Your second point is spot on, we are indeed building a trading platform for both sides of the industry, artists and businesses. We will though, help them with their IP registration. We first will provide useful guides and connect them with legal services that can do a more in-depth service. Eventually we plan to also provide music registration services that will register and track their IP usage!

@gian_berselli Thank you for your reply. I think the protection of intellectual property rights in music is particularly important, and your work will greatly promote the development in this area.
