Hawkeye is an app that provides a robust user-driven reporting and alert system that works in 3 simple steps: first, users report predatory behavior with evidence, our team (supported by our advanced AI model) verifies the reports, and then data is used to create a public profile of the predator. Anyone can search up any user on Snapchat, Instagram, and Tinder to see their report history. 🔊 Why We Built This: Imagine this: you receive an Instagram DM with an AI deepfaked explicit image of you, your IP address, and a threat to share it throughout your circle. Well, this happened to my friends and me, yet Instagram dismissed it in minutes as it had "no guideline violations." This is the unfortunate reality for 1 in 5 young adults on social media by the over 500,000+ active predators online every day. Because there was no app on the market to address this, we took it into our own hands! 🛠️ Key Features: - Search: see other user's "risk score".
