This could easily be turned into a collectibles-type product, similar to KidRobot. Release "blind" bags of patches and make some more rare than others. I could see this turning into a fad, if done right.

@jadojodo Yes!! The idea is that people only need one hat, but they can build a collection of patches. We plan to offer some rare limited edition patches and thought of the "mystery" patch idea as well. The business model for this was inspired by "Shopkins" which my kids are obsessed with. Thx for the feedback!

@joshbarkin I haven't heard of Shopkins, but I would encourage you to check out the Kidrobot site and perhaps order a blind box to get an idea of the possibilities.
