@will_lam I actually checked with the owner of Ruby Toolbox and see if it's possible to reuse the software (https://twitter.com/wanghq/statu...). I made it during the RailsRumble hackathon.
Regarding the inspiration, I am mostly amazed (1) and a little bit annoyed (2) by the discussions on HackerNews.
1) for most of the time a post asking for recommendations on certain tools will end up with a long discussion and many amazing tools.
2) similar questions are asked repeatedly, sometimes twice per day.
So why not building something to save the best and avoid the waste?
