Hey Product Hunt! I’m Graham and I’m super excited to share GrowthBook with you! My co-founder (@jeremy_dorn) and I are both engineers. At our previous job, when we pushed a feature live, we just wanted to know a few core things - Was it working? Were people using it? Was it improving our metrics? We realized answering these questions was surprisingly difficult. It involved lots of switching between tools, squinting at graphs, and building custom dashboards and reports. With GrowthBook, we set out to make this process much simpler. Engineering teams wrap their code in feature flags and deploy safely to production. Then those features can be released to users gradually or run as a controlled A/B test with robust statistics (using your existing data and metrics). And if anything goes wrong along the way, there’s an instant kill switch for production that disables the feature entirely! Best of all, GrowthBook is fully open source! Congrats on the launch! It's awesome this is fully open source as well as having a cloud hosted version. That's one of the things we liked about PostHog and it's a great model for this sort of product. Well done and good luck!

I love Growthbook! I use it mainly for the experiment tracking/reporting features and it's been really great so far. I've had zero issues with it even though it's a very early-stage product. They take a Bayesian approach to the stats side of the platform, which was a requirement for us. It's also very transparent about how the statistics work & it's easy to troubleshoot because the queries they run to fetch & transform data are readily available. A few other highlights: - Incredibly easy to self-host, - There's a friendly, responsive community on Slack, - The reports it generates are both pretty and comprehensive (both of which are critical for our PMs)
