I’m excited to share the story behind the creation of Griddr. My girlfriend and I started this journey after a particularly memorable incident. We had a big fight because I couldn’t capture a perfectly symmetric photo, something incredibly important to her as a pixel-perfect UX designer. This made me realize that the default iOS camera app wasn’t built for this purpose, with its limited 3x3 grid. 📷
Determined to solve this, we combined our skills—her eye for design and my development know-how—to create Griddr. It became a symbol of our love and collaboration. ❤️
Griddr isn’t just any camera app; it offers advanced composition grids like the diagonal, symmetries, golden triangle, etc., perfect for those who value precision in their photography. For those wanting even more customization, we offer a premium plan at just $2.99, which includes various grid colors and additional advanced grids. ✨

Speaking of the grids, my girlfriend did research to figure out all the common grids for the MVP version.
For the premium plan, Totally! We are going to add more grid types for sure. We are not clear what other features/customization options would be more helpful. So we are really looking forward to hearing more from our users.

2) We have not got any feedbacks from early users yet. We have been using it ourselves when there is such need. Really looking forward to hearing from our users + iterating to make griddr more useful.
