Hi Product Hunt! I recently started my fitness journey because staying healthy as I get older has become a priority for me. Along the way, I realized that tracking progress and having a structured plan are absolutely essential for making workouts effective—especially when you focus on just a few key exercises to train all muscle groups. As a tech enthusiast, I was fascinated by the potential of running machine learning models, specifically pose estimation, directly on iOS and Android devices. That’s when the idea for Golden Push-Ups was born. I wanted to create an app that uses on-device ML-Models to help people track their push-ups in real-time, stay motivated with tailored plans, and see their progress—all without subscriptions or complicated setups. @keanedwards_ yes absolutely. There is a counter in the UI as well as sounds for every rep. At the end of the rep there is a special sound. There are also voice commands which guide you thru the workout.
