I’m Sophia, maker of Komiko — and today I’m super excited (and a little nervous!) to finally share something I’ve been pouring my heart into: Komiko, a platform I started to make anime and comic storytelling accessible to everyone.

I grew up obsessing over anime and webtoons, dreaming up stories I never had the skills to draw. Even later, after working in AI research and building tech products, I still couldn’t quite let go of that dream. That’s what led me to build Komiko — canva for anime & comics storytelling.
Komiko is made for people like me — who have stories in their heads, but maybe not the time, tools, or art skills to bring them to life. With Komiko, you can go from idea to anime art, comics, and even animations in just minutes.

I've always had a bunch of storylines and plots in mind that I wished could come to life. The ability to turn them into comics or animations without needing advanced drawing skills is truly empowering. One question though — how do you ensure consistency in character design across different scenes or comic panels? That’s something I’ve seen many AI tools struggle with.
