Hello everyone, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my second project, Forester: Walk&Plant, an iOS application that I developed during my free time with a mission close to my heart. This app was built out of my passion for developing my programming skills and nature. The concept behind Forester is simple yet powerful. It encourages users to walk, stay active, and as they do, they earn in-app currency. But here’s where it gets exciting: this currency can be used to purchase real-life trees, which I will personally ensure are planted. Each step you take brings us one step closer to a greener world. I created Forester as a way to give back, to use my skills in iOS development for something that contributes positively to the environment. In a world where technology often distances us from nature, I wanted to create a tool that bridges that gap, encouraging people to connect with the outdoors while contributing to global reforestation efforts. @busmark_w_nika Hi Nika, so basically the way users will generate currency is by simply walking, 100 steps will be converted into 1 Forester Coin. One real tree will cost 25k Forester Coins, which after purchase will be planted by me. The monetization for this will for now be covered by ads and/or coin packs purchased by users in the app. Hope I made it clear. Let me know if you have any other questions. :)
