Managing a WordPress site might be easy. But managing multiple sites over different server/cloud platforms? Now that sounds like a real hassle as a Dev. Unless you are using FlyWP! Now, you can just connect your servers to FlyWP and host any WordPress sites.

WordPress hosting solutions are always of interest to me. What seperates you from existing solutions? What are your plans for the future? Wish you all the best!

@michacassola I would be interested in seeing a detailed comparison between something like this and cloud vs a more generalist serveravatar. use cases would be helpful in a comparative evaluation as well.
Tareq Hasan
@michacassola There are many managed hosting solutions for WordPress, but very few like FlyWP. There are also many solutions like FlyWP that let you connect to your own cloud provider and manage applications, but they are very generic and cater to all types of applications. For us, we want to focus on WordPress only. We aim to help this audience launch fast and secure WordPress servers and sites. We also took a different approach by going the container route, as we think it's the future. This provides a safe and secure environment for WordPress, as sites get hacked due to various plugin and theme vulnerabilities. Containerization makes each site sandboxed in an isolated environment. We can also launch a Kubernetes-based solution that scales with traffic and opens a new horizon.

@tareq1988 Sounds really good! Is any of your stack open sourced?
Tareq Hasan
@michacassola Yes! Take a look at our GitHub: https://github.com/flywp

Congrats on the launch, this looks great! Do you do differential backups on S3/R2? I have a few large sites with hundreds of GB of media which almost never changes. Would be a shame to have to pay an S3 bill for that times 30 days retention. Thanks and good luck!
Tareq Hasan
Hey @kovshenin, thanks for stopping by. We don’t do differential backups yet, but we will definitely look for this in the future.
