Deblank Colors

Hey PH Community 👋 I’m excited to unveil Deblank Colors! Every creative project is a bit of a journey, from blank page to polished creative idea. With Colors we’re giving you a creative assistant to help you with one piece of that journey. It’ll take a brief, generate a palette, and then on your instruction - edit, adjust, whittle down (or up!) until it’s just right. Go back and forth as many times as you like, and every time Deblank will give you an updated color palette to your instruction. Literally *anyone* can use this thing. You could give it an awesome creative brief that’s got every detail ... Or frankly, you can write in a line from your favourite poem, … and you’ll get back a color palette to match. Try it, it’s weirdly fun! Oh and along with all the good times you’ll have making color palettes inspired by random bits of text, you can also finesse them “Make it more pastel!”, "You call that a royal color palette, make it more royal!", you can also visualise them on mockups, and you can save color inspirations to share and use. The Deblank team is on its own journey to create tools that speed up the inspiration phase of your project. We think AI can be super helpful for recommendations, ideas, and rapid visualisation. As a designer, I often end up falling back on patterns and tricks I’ve used before (that favourite font, that hobby horse colour scheme), and so I spend a lot of time finding ways to bust myself out. There’s a lot of amazing tools (and templates ;-) out there these days to do just that. And we think Deblank is going to be a new bookmark in your list for that project kickstart. I’d love to hear feedback on our Colors tool, but also how else you’d like to see AI help with the inspo part of new projects. (You’ll see we’ve already got an alpha fonts thing we’ve been playing with, though it needs lots more work!) Finally … I’m in Australia, so I gotta say, I feel weird writing ‘Colors’ and not the totally actually correct spelling of ‘Colours’, but what can I say, America won the internet I guess ;-)

This is fun! I love the color palette I just created. I simply provided a prompt (ethereal cosmos nebula) and Deblank quickly suggested a color palette based on the prompt. Then it automatically incorporated it into their design "mockups" for examples. https://twitter.com/EithirielDeM...
