Cubicle is the simplest task management app, built around the Pomodoro technique of working in 20 minute batches. Cubicle does five things very well: set 3 tasks for your next 20 minutes, set 3 daily tasks, take notes, track completed tasks, and run a timer.

Howdy Product Hunt! Proud to be sharing my fourth product here: Cubicle! Cubicle is a simple task management tool I built for myself and use daily. It is based around the Pomodoro technique of working in 20 minute bursts with short breaks in between. It is dead simple. You set three tasks for your next 20 minutes of work and start the built in timer. When you hear the soothing chime your 20 minute sprint is done. You can also set 3 overall tasks you'd like to get done for the day. It's super easy to mark tasks as completed and all completed tasks are tracked in the completed tasks section. All tasks are draggable which makes it super easy to move them around as your day changes. I also designed a notepad based on the way I was using Slack to DM myself to dos throughout the day. That's it! And it's just $10, once. No subscription cost, just $10 and it's yours for life, including future updates. Managing your to do list shouldn't be on your to do list. Thanks for checking it out!

@jake_weber love it for how simple it is. my problem with other tools is the overcomplication. this is the one thing that should have zero clutter! gonna give it a shot. all the best!

@ranjit_bhinge Thanks so much Ranjit, I completely agree. That is what led to me making Cubicle for myself. Appreciate the kind words, and good luck with your upcoming launch!

Really cool, I love simple products & designs like this! After reading your maker comment I'm even more interested in how you transform your Slack Messages to the ToDo-List? Also are there any integrations of Cubicle to common ToDo-Apps (e.g. Reminders, Trello, ...) planned in near future?

@lrueger Thanks Lukas! Cubicle isn't integrated with Slack. I just based the design of the notepad within Cubicle on Slack. I was constantly DMing myself my to dos on Slack, and that idea of "sending myself a message" just seems to work super well. So you can add notes in Cubicle via a message like interface. You can also drag and drop any note or task to any other area of Cubicle. So a note can become a task and a task can become a note. In terms of longer term integrations I am definitely open to the idea, just depends if the addition is worth the tradeoff in simplicity. What would be your TOP integration in terms of value?

@jake_weber I think I just generally like the process of "texting" myself ToDos. I use fantastical & Apple reminders for a similar flow. It's probably a very personal thing what people want to use for this, but I can see Slack as a top prio because many people use it in their daily work + it's easy to integrate. E.g. WhatsApp or Telegram would be similar tools that people often use, but I don't know about how feasible an integration can happen there. What you should definitely have a look into is Fantastical, because they offer a widget for MacOS (and other OS) where a small conversation window opens. This minimizes the friction for entering an event / task. That would be a cool way for your app, too!

@lrueger Thanks for sharing such great thoughts Lukas! Definitely going to check out Fantastical, looks interesting. Yeah I am constantly texting and emailing myself my to dos. I've considered giving every Cubicle user a custom number they can text to add to dos to their Cubicle when they aren't at their desk.

Hi Cubicle team, looks like a great task manager and a scheduler to maintain and manage your to do list. Adding the feature of time makes it even more comprehensive. Best of luck for the wonderful product.
