Why not just a detailed Medium post or blog post? I imagine you would get a larger audience that may benefit you far greater than the fee for the book.

@george_dy Thanks for the question! Yes, initially I thought in giving away for free. But after giving away some copies for free to get feedback, People said that I should charge something not to make a profit but to allow me to continue to produce more high-quality content like this. And after thinking about that I decided to charge because one of the goals of this project is cover all the relevant Technologies / Cryptos and for that, I need to have some form of income to be able to work part-time or even full-time on this. Right now on the Starter Kit I only focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum, but I have plans to cover more coins and technologies like (Cardano, Steem, EOS, Hashgraph, Tangle...)

I have friends outside the tech world constantly asking for my opinion on crypto -- whether its a bubble 🛁 and where to start if they are interested in investing, something like this could really help. Why did you start working on this project and who is it suitable for?

Thanks for the question @abadesi. I decided to start working on this project as an attempt to help people to get educated about Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies. And like you mentioned there are people inside/outside the tech world who wants to understand what this thing is and how they can get involved. With this in mind, I started putting together all my notes from my personal research on this topics and carefully tailored it for people that are new to blockchain and cryptocurrencies, explaining all the concepts needed in plain English so that the average reader can understand the content easily. I was a beta subscriber and got earlier access. Got a chance to show it to a couple of "traditional" (commodities, real-state, ...) investors wanting to get into Crypto and they got pretty much all the concepts involved under the umbrella of Crypto Currencies.

Pros:

Plain, accurate and super easy reading. A must for that friend asking about Crypto every day and totally worth it if you're about to invest.

Cons:

Not for the advanced Crypto addict ;)
